Defining LOVE (back then..)
many years ago, LOVE was being really in love with only one person. LOVE was like being intimate with someone whom you are planning to live a life with. LOVE was a roller coaster, full of surprises. LOVE was hard to get, LOVE was being true to someone. LOVE was having a lifetime commitment to someone. LOVE was not a drug, LOVE was not just sex. LOVE was not a GAME. LOVE was SACRED, TRUE, and REAL. LOVE (back then…) is growing old with someone whom you truly love.
Defining LOVE (nowadays..)
LOVE is SEX. LOVE is a GAME. LOVE is basically flirting. LOVE is having lots of money. LOVE is just a pass time. A HOBBY, LOVE is just a temporary commitment. LOVE is easy to get, you can be in LOVE with any person you want (take note, it can be all at the same time) LOVE is like taking your best foot forward and not being true to yourself. LOVE is a drug, LOVE is totally not sacred (you can even marry anyone on las vegas) LOVE is not REAL. LOVE is growing old counting how many girls/boys you’ve fucked with. LOVE (nowadays…) is not TRUE anymore.
It’s so sad, to think how the world changed the real essence and meaning of LOVE. because of the media, popular persons, people with great influences..
Have we really forgotten what love is? I mean, in our generation? Like what some other old people say… “The Facebook Generation” Are we really that fucked up? Are we really gonna let this happen? Are you not bothered how LIFE would be if WE’re (YOU and I) not gonna do something? LOVE is from GOD, and the bible says GOD is LOVE. Don’t let this happen, change the meaning of love. I hope and I pray that in our generation, we can bring back the OLD meaning of LOVE.. which is TRUE LOVE. I hope it’s not too late! :)

this photograph intrigues me so much! why isn’t this the most famous photo from 9/11 instead of the falling man? isn’t 2 people holding hands after jumping more significant than 1 man? it makes me wonder what the story is behind this photo, were they friends or lovers? or just strangers who were too scared to jump alone? it shows that people need a helping hand even in their final moments, i love it.
Fucking reblog today; tomorrow. Any day I see it on my dash. Beautiful. I for one think they were strangers. Sometimes it’s easier to care for a stranger, how else would they have found the courage to not only jump, but to look into someone’s eyes and jump. I don’t think I could have done that if I knew the person well.
I do have one question, what if the camera had snapped this photo just at the right time? what if they weren’t holding hands, but just falling near each other at exactly the right time? Not saying they weren’t holding hands, just a thought.
